The Valentine's Day Blog!

Well here we are at another Valentine's Day. Another day when many people go all out to create a day of love and romance for someone they consider special. Many business make a killing on this day as lovers exchange gifts, go out to dinner, and do things to show their love for one another. I have to admit I am a part of that crowd. I have purchased gifts for my wife and we have plans this evening. I cooked dinner for my family last night to start off the weekend. I buy into the whole idea of Valentine's Day.

However, I don't think that today is the only day that this should occur. If you are in a relationship, shouldn't you be showing the one you love how much you care every day? It seems to me that far too often we wait for the big moments to communicate how we feel. What would happen if we started to take all the little moments in our lives and no longer let them slip by. What if we were willing to say the things that we need to say, do the things that we need to do? What if we showed God and those around us how much we loved them every day? Gifts are great, but what if instead of just giving gifts, we gave our lives and our love to others daily.

So yes, today, go out and enjoy yourself. Be passionate and romantic, but remember tomorrow will come around you will have another day to share love all over again.
